Windsurfing: Lake Bala Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 15-22 knts Surf / Sea State: small chop Air Temperature: 14C Sea Temperature: Weather: Sunny spells Max Speed: Distance Covered:
With a forecast of 12knots I headed out to Bala ready for a 9.0m sesion.
On arriving the wind was reading 16-21 knots so out came the 6.4m and the
flow for a carve gybe practise session.
I was constantly powered up bar the occassional lull and much of the time
towards the sailing club I was well over powered, great planing
conditions.
After a while getting settled and fluffing some gybes I settled down and
found a nice flat section of water near the sailing club and started making
my gybes and coming out with some speed at times.
Excellent session some very fast runs good gybe practise. Four people out
today, about 4-5 hours on the water, great fun.
